What ideas am I interested in?

I have found that the anonymous internet environment is a major cause of online violence, usually in online media like microblogs and anonymous forums rather than in the circle of friends. With the protection of anonymity, people have the right to play various roles. "No one knows if there is a dog sitting across the internet." The anonymous environment allows for a higher level of revelation and the publication of one's truest thoughts, thus enabling some sensitive issues to be explored. It can also make the whole community more aggressive, abusing each other and exposing the evil of human nature. Since I also experienced online school violence once during my high school years, I wanted to use this poster to show the public that this phenomenon needs to be addressed and controlled. You can't be a "keyboard warrior" and hide behind the internet just because you don't know someone or don't like someone.

How do I feel about how it is going?

I'm still happy with this poster. I didn't start out with the idea of making a book, so this one is a little larger than the other letters. And I used cool colours like purple and grey, I can feel some of the coldness and loneliness of the internet through these colours.

What have I learnt from my crit?

I find that using different shades of colour can also convey different emotions. Cyber violence is an extremely bad social phenomenon in itself, and cool colours can be a good way to illustrate this negative emotion. I also felt through the research of this painting that we seem to be complaining about why the internet is so full of malice, but at the same time, we are not willing to give the world a little more kindness.
